Onsite Research: Northpoint Underpass Pt.2

Continuing my observation from Northpoint Underpass.

10:05am
  • Bunch of uncles and aunties talking loudly. Seems there's alot of seniors here, speaking dialect
10:10am
  • Female worker from Mcdonalds came down to the underpass to distrubute Mcdonals coupons.
10:12am
  • Occasionally people run down the escalator. Probably late for something.

10:16am
  • Uncles, working man, goes to have breakfast at the food court.
  • Now teenagers can be seen in groups, maybe 16 -19 years old.
  • Uncle and his wife coming back from NTUC fairprice.
  • One bangladesh took the wrong escalator up. *LOL*

10:20am
  • Teenagers making a ruckus while climbing down the stairs.
  • More Students coming in the underpass.

10:25am
  • People would slow down just to receive the macdonalds coupons.
  • A couple bought a lottery ticket from the uncle selling them.
  • Uncles & aunties after shopping from NTUC fairprice goes to Foodcourt.
  • More younger age groups can be seen.
  • Older seniors come back from wet market.
  • An uncle talking loudly which took my attention however not for the locals there.

  • not much people walking now...
  • Malay aunty setting up her currypuff section.
10:46am
  • Now more people walking through the underpass.
10:50am
  • Alot of people walking at the underpass.
  • Short burst of people coming in again.
11:00am
  • Squeaking babyshoes
11:15am
  • Less people walking at the underpass.
  • The sounds of the air vent is heard.
11:17am
  • More people starts coming in and out.
  • Children saying bye-bye at each other.
  • more children are seen, Teenagers too.
11:35am
  • Uncle with guitar starts setting up for busking.
  • Quite noticeable from afar due to strumming of guitar and the nature of the underpass.
11:45am
  • Busking uncle starts playing
  • Children from kindergarten going for lunch with moms.
  • There's no mistaking children because of the sounds they make.
  • Working men and ladies going for lunch.
11:51am
  • Underpass is increasing a bit with traffic.
  • But not rush hour yet.
  • More sounds of the footsteps is heard.
